MEET BRIAN,
Creator of Peculiar People Apparel, father of 3, and husband, born in Columbia, SC but raised in Kansas City, MO. Peculiar People was never meant to be another Christian clothing brand. It grew from a simple but meaningful truth found in 1 Peter 2:9: as believers, we are chosen, set apart, and called to belong to God.
That truth became the foundation for a brand centered on something deeper than what we wear—knowing who you are and Whose you are.
Through Peculiar People, Brian hopes to create clothing that feels natural to wear while giving people an opportunity to express their faith, start conversations, and carry reminders of God's Word into everyday life.
But Peculiar People isn't just Brian's story. It's a community made up of different people, backgrounds, experiences, and walks with God—all connected by the same identity.
And that's ultimately what PECULIAR PEOPLE, IRL. is about.

WHAT DOES BEING PECULIAR MEAN TO ME?
Being peculiar isn't just about being different from everyone else. It's knowing that my identity doesn't come from the world around me, I know who I am and Who I belong to. Being peculiar is about living boldly in our God given identity, even if it means living set apart.
